This study will look at what crowds God out of our hearts, the substitutes we make for him as a result, and how to clear out our hearts so we can discover God for who he truly is.
Being vulnerable with God means being comfortable with our weaknesses because we know God’s power is greater than any of our weaknesses or flaws and that all our strength and courage comes from God. There’s freedom knowing that God loves us no matter what and can make us strong despite our weaknesses or insecurities.
God wants us to have friends that we can be completely and totally ourselves with, but this can only happen if we let go of control, stop holding back, and allow ourselves to get messy.
Transparency is having thoughts, feelings, or motives that are easily perceived. It is being completely and honestly ourselves without any pretense. What you see is what you get.
