Anxiety (n): apprehensive uneasiness or nervousness usually over an impending or anticipated ill.
Surrender (v): to agree to stop fighting, hiding, resisting, etc.
Surrender Anxiety is a powerful phrase that describes what it truly means to walk with God: letting go of all that distracts and consumes our thoughts, and replacing that worry with God’s peace and reassurance.
This episode is part of a series recently launched on our podcast called Coming Home. Coming Home describes the process of learning to connect with God in the midst of this busy world we live in. Surrendering anxiety is a crucial part of this process.
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Matthew 6:33-34 NIV
