Spiritual Burnout, Part Three

In the final part of the Spiritual Burnout series (check out Part 1 and Part 2) Russ has Mike and Nick read through scriptures and give their tips on how to engage your heart and not just perform by doing some outward action.

Sometimes we can think that being a Christian consists of feeling like a failure and always falling short. There are impossibly high standards that we humanly cannot reach, even if we are to try our hardest. Though that is not what God asks of us, He asks for us to start simply with being completely honest with Him about everything we think and feel. If you can start with honesty then you can start seeing the things God is teaching you throughout your day. Our eyes open to how much He is involved, and working, and how much we focus on circumstances or situations rather than God while living life. Learn how to stop relying on yourself and your performance and start relying on God. There are many practicals brought up in this episode so make sure to listen all the way to the end.
