Exposing sin and dark activity in our lives, and helping others expose the darkness in their lives is how we defeat darkness. As soon as we begin to pray with honesty, vulnerable and transparency with God, we experience God moving and turning painful darkness into the light of hope.
Our sense and desire for destiny, meaning and purpose in our lives goes beyond what can be achieved humanistically. How do you see this desire for the spiritual, unseen and eternal in you? Understanding this, how can you be more spiritual in your thinking and in your way of living?
God loves us and he guides us through discipline and training, just like a father who cares deeply for his children. How and where is God guiding your life?
We all have weaknesses, sins, and challenges. Changing any one of these of significance takes consistent effort over time. Have you ever tried to change something, but given up after a few days? When trying to change, there will always come a time when our faith is tested. It’s only when we persevere daily that we grow stronger and become who God meant us to be.
Do you believe God cares more about your performance as a Christian or in being active in pursuing your relationship with Him? When we start relying on ourselves in our life, we start treating being a Christian as a humanistic performance rather than a spiritual pursuit of God. How do you trust in your own effort over God’s power in your life?
Being spiritual is a struggle because there are dark forces fighting against us every day. The struggle is good because it means you are fighting to grow. To win, we have to be aware of the spiritual forces against us and what their goal is.
